Exploring the EFB Summary Section
Does your OCC environment struggle with manually searching multiple sources, and monitoring upcoming problems relating to NOTAMs and potential changing weather trends around airports and airfields?
This doesn’t have to be a challenge for your airline, when an aviation weather watch tool exists to enhance the safety awareness within your flight operations department!
Airfield Watch is an airport weather monitoring tool allowing operators to focus only on the airfields and airports that are relevant to their flights.
It brings immediate attention to the most problematic locations situated on their live and upcoming flights; so flight operations staff have full situational awareness of any potential weather warnings or NOTAM issues.
The aviation weather watch integrates with operational weather and NOTAM data from multiple reliable sources via the Met Office, EUROCONTROL, NOAA and Jeppesen; which is updated every 5 minutes.
In order to monitor airport weather for your scheduled and live flights, we simply create a set of groups utilising your flight plan information for departure, destination and alternate airfields.
Each airfield is then displayed as a simple graphic that allows you to quickly see the cloud ceiling, visibility, wind speed, RVR, NOTAM and weather status for METAR and TAF.
Your operational weather minima levels are displayed using a traffic light system—green for OK, amber for warning, and red for critical—ensuring quick and easy awareness of any potential issues.
This allows you to see all of your airports METAR, TAF and NOTAMs in one easy to view dashboard… this is a game changer!
When you see a critical weather minima issue, you can select the airfield graphic and take a closer look at the problem including current weather trends, to decide if the warning is going to affect your operational plans or current live flights.
As well as aviation weather watch, this also includes NOTAM monitoring with all your NOTAMs filtered to only include the important and relevant ones to your flight operations.
In addition to aviation weather watch, this feature also includes NOTAM monitoring, which filters out the noise to ensure only the most important and relevant NOTAMs for your flight operations are displayed.
It also delivers critical NOTAM warnings and alerts directly to specific OCC staff, eliminating the need for any manual searching!
Why not arrange a demonstration today and we can provide you with a trial to test out in your operations.
